Yomi and Puzzle Strike, Finally Shipping

Both Yomi and the new second printing of Puzzle Strike are finally shipping! They started shipping yesterday, and will continue to ship today, monday, and tuesday. They are going out by earliest orders first, and I think all orders will be shipped by the end of tuesday, as far as I know. Or maybe wednesday if it gets hectic.

Also, Ken B. over at FortressAT.com gave Puzzle Strike his award for Game of the Year 2010. Wow!

And as mentioned before, Tom Vasel gave Yomi a 10 out of 10. (He gave Puzzle Strike an 8, btw.)

I hope you guys enjoy the games! If you ordered one or both, get your friends ready to play soon!

Just a footnote to this, as per the update on facebook, apparently all international orders shipper yesterday (Thursday), so if you're a non-American like myself, your Yomi should already be in the mail. Exciting stuff, yes?
Congrats again, David. I hope you never get tired of hearing it. ;P

Awesome! If ours shipped, would we have gotten a notification email? I am really excited btw.

Nikkin thanks, it helps balance out the stupid hate I get.

Justin: unfortunately no, you wouldn't have gotten notification, as far as I know. You can get tracking for your order by asking Aldo at aldo(at)impressionsadv(dot)net though.

Haters gonna hate, after some point it becomes a waste of time to deal with them. I look forward to further developments from Sirlin Games. And also to all the games being playable on iOS, Android, Symbian, Facebook and every platform on the planet.

does this include amazon.com orders? amazon said it wouldn't arrive until the 20th-24th. Having it earlier would be a wonderful surprise, our group is really excited to play the game

Cer: If only I had some programmers to make iOS versions, that would sure be great.

crow: Yes, it does include Amazon orders, yay.

I'm looking forward to Yomi and Puzzle Strike purchases/trades in the next few months. I want to thank you and the community here for all the work to bring these games to reality--and virtuality, as the case may be. I wish you much success, you deserve it!

Congratulations on Yomi - I'm pretty sure you've always considered it your flagship game, and I'm really happy you managed to finally get it out. Next thing I'll be happy about is unboxing mine!

Got my yomi set last night! It looks awesome. Well worth the money. Thanks for developing such a great game.

I really wish I had the money to buy the $100 version of Yomi. I I remember playing the hell out of it back in Summer 2008 (I believe it was) when there were Street Fighter cards in PDF form. My friends and I had a blast with it. I'll definitely pick up some of the decks and the Print-and-Play version soon.

Just got my copies of Puzzle Strike and Yomi! : ) If my mom wasn't turning the house upside down because she doesn't have a computer (I think she fried the PSU and MOBO by flipping the reset button on the surge protector a bunch of times, lol - put in a new power supply and it still wont turn on, so she's really raging), I'd open them up right now and have some fun, but she's the type to get butt hurt whenever something goes bad for her and good for someone else, so she'd likely "accidentally" mess up something. I'll wait till I can meet up with friends to play somewhere else, hopefully tomorrow if not later today.

Hey Sirlin. I ordered both a while back and I got my copy of Puzzle Strike today. Did Yomi ship separately?

January 13, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterJohn

Hate!

Nah, well done on pushing this and finally getting it out there. Must be nice to finally be able to say "orders shipping" and I for one am glad as well (having ordered a copy of Yomi and Puzzle Strike myself). We've been playing a lot of print n play PS and a lot more PnP Yomi lately and it will be damn nice to crack out the real deal and play with that :)

We often get little crowds gathering with our cheap PnP Yomi games that we play in a common area. Can't wait till I get Checkmate Busted with them fancy cards!

And again, great job Sirlin, I glad you pushed as hard and as long as you did to produce something this well though out, well made and well produced.

I received, I played, I was impressed.

Just got my copies, Puzzle Strike looks good, the Yomi playmats aren't as sharp as I hoped, but thats not a big deal. But the most frequent question I am getting is, "Why is the box pink?"

I've dug into the Sirlin Forums to read some of the discussion on early versions of the game. Have you considered writing a post mortum on the changes you've made between versions; what worked, what didn't, and how it gelled into the final product?

Congratulations on the accomplishment! I got my copy a few days ago and I look forward to playing.
