PAX Prime
If any of you are going to PAX Prime this year, don't miss out on the Sirlin Games tournaments. The complete schedule is here, but here are the times for my games:
Friday, 8/31, 11am: Puzzle Strike.
Saturday, 9/1, 11:00am: Flash Duel.
Saturday, 9/1, 1:30pm: Yomi.
I'll be happy to sign your copy of the games too, if you like. You can also buy them at the Game Salute booth. Look for me in the Game Salute area or in the tabletop gaming area. I can also demo my customizable card game to a select few. And I have a fun question and answer game that even non-gamers might enjoy that we could try out, if the situation arises. And a game design issue that interested parties could help with in yet another game I have in development. I'd also welcome anyone interested in trying some new 2v2 Yomi rules to ask about that, and we'll see how that goes.
If you're an artist who can draw in a similar style and level of quality to the Yomi face card art, you might stop by with some samples as well. I just might have some work for you.
I'll also be the Street Fighter HD Remix tournament Saturday evening. We'll see if I can repeat my PAX East win at PAX Prime!
EDIT: Oh, and you get bonus points if you can somehow get Day9 and I together at PAX. Even though I *wrote* one of his favorite two books, I have not been able to even contact him (not for lack of trying). Someone tell Day9 that I'd like to meet him. Thanks. :)

Seriously wish I could go to this. :(
Have fun y'all!
You're not going to play in the Puzzle Fighter Tourney?
Not sure, but I don't think I can make the timing of it. Maybe.
You should've been at GamesCom, and in a surprise twist during the Day[9] autograph signing session, give him a signed copy of Playing to Win. Even shout "REVERSAL! (1000 points)", perhaps. Maybe try something similar at PAX?
Oh man, I'd love a chance to see your customizable game. Are you demoing in red lion tabletop area or main convention centre?
Webb: Good question. I didn't realize that PAX Prime's layout is waaay worse than PAX East's. Everything is separated. The Game Salute area is different from where the tournaments are (like city blocks away). The tabletop area is some third place, and it's in a bunch of different tiny rooms. It's really inconvenient and makes it hard to find anyone. The easiest place to really play is in the "tabletop free play rooms." There are like 5 or 6 of those (inconvenient compared to one big space) and I can't even just pick one and tell you which one, because it's more of a "wherever there is space available" type of thing. Uh...maybe room 211? Or a different one if that happened to be full at the time. Anyway, tomorrow I'll probably be at the Red Lion most of the day for Flash Duel + Yomi, and then after that wherever the HD Remix tournament is. But Sunday I'll be in 211 (or whatever other tabletop room) more.
Yeah, the PAX East convention center is like, multiple times larger than the Seattle one. So, PAX Prime just kind of sprawls all over multiple city blocks to make up for it. I obviously didn't see you today... I stopped by game salute while you were probably at the puzzle strike tourney.... and then got to the Red Lion after puzzle strike was clearly over. Oh, well.
I *did* happen to see Day9... he's spending all evening in the Hyatt, streaming some wacky Starcraft tourney with bonus effects the commetators can throw in. That was today, and should be tomorrow as well. If you go to that event, and then hang out till 10 or 11 or whenever it ends, then there's a chance to go up and talk to him.
