A Very Long Story About Board Games and Business
Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:29PM
I came across this amazing story. Michael Barnes weaves an epic tale of his trecherous journey as a hobby game store owner. I laughed, I cried, and so on. It's damn long.

I was rooting for our protagonist here. Business is a tough world--the board game business, doubly so. Mr. Barnes may use a lot of linguistic flourishes in this story, be uses them well, and he certainly has something to say.

Really enjoyed the story, enthralling and I was loving the whole thing, and even though I knew the ending I couldn't help but hope it would change and nothing would go wrong. Brilliant read, thanks :D
My god. This is an incredible story about the impassioned hobbyist who's out for the good of the community, versus the corporate greedy lawyer who cares about only one thing. Even though I am not a fan of these types of board game or fantasy games, this makes me think about the future of other game stores and how very different they are, from what the Author tried to make happen.
